Greetings, valued Decatur Airport Users!

I have exciting news to share with you about our Airport FBO. On May 19, the Decatur Park Board of Commissioners accepted a proposal by Gaitros Aviation to assume management of the facility as of June 1, 2010. Decatur native Will Gaitros has a wealth of A & P experience, IA credentials, and private sector FBO experience. We are excited that our long-term need for mechanical services will now be met!

During the initial phase of this managerial change, it is not anticipated that Gaitros Aviation will institute any significant rate, fee, or procedural changes. We will schedule an open house very soon so you may meet and welcome Will and his wife, Jessica, back to Decatur and to our aviation community.
