Taxiway "G" Construction Project
The largest construction project in Decatur Airport history, Taxiway Golf will complete a full-length taxiway parallel to our primary Runway 6/24. This $6.3 million project has begun and when complete, will serve Decatur Airport well and long into the future. The complex project was designed to keep the Airport operational during construction and is slated to continue over three construction seasons. Dirt work and electrical is under way this fall 2003 and will continue until the weather ends the season. For 2004, construction will restart in the spring and continue into late fall, finishing in the spring of 2005.
